Donald Trump Spoke in Support of Cryptocurrency in The USA

Former U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his support for the cryptocurrency sector in the U.S. by posting on his social media platform, Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), as reported by Cointelegraph.

According to Trump, the U.S. should become a leader in the field of digital currencies and should not be satisfied with second place. “I am very positive and open to cryptocurrency companies and everything related to this new and growing industry,” he added on TMTG.

Donald Trump, who was previously an opponent of digital currencies, also noted that current U.S. President Joe Biden is “killing” the crypto industry in the country.

Cointelegraph suggests that Trump may have changed his stance on cryptocurrency ahead of the presidential elections scheduled for November 4, 2024. As a presidential candidate, Trump launched his own NFT tokens and opened cryptocurrency donations, which have become successful tools for promoting his campaign.
